Great Dance Routine: James Cagney and Bob Hope

Movies have always been a form of public diplomacy, winning friends, influencing people and indirectly building a nation's "brand name." Here's a classic scene from an American movie in 1955. The U.S., Egypt, France, Japan, China and now India are among the nations whose films have had international impact. What do you think new push for Emirati films will do for the image of the UAE around the world? Enjoy the song and dance of this YouTube clip.

I really like the video especially the last part because the dancers were creating moves that attract the audience.
I think now uae is improved but not internationally only in Arab world. For example, FREEJ is one of the most successful series that has different aspect and reflects the life of emirate people.
There are uae films but its improving slowly.

Bollywood and Hollywood has their own way to attract people .. either by songs, dances or content.
About the UAE, it had been a great move for its media, and specially in its films or serieses, before the emirati films were only made as part of ones hoppy and it didn't take others or media interests, but nowadays it changed, those who were making or producing films as a hoppy had been famous and got prizes for their works as the emirati writer, producer, photographer and director Mohammed Hassan Ahmed.
As Bollywood is famous for its songs and dances , and Hollywwod for its contents and stories , the "UAEwood" is famous in the curuosity that it builds in the watchers and even the content which most emirati films covers which is about the emirati culture in the past and present. yes, it isn't known globally but it success in the region and am sure in the future it will be famous as hollywood and bollywood.

Hollywood and its representation of the US as a culture has taken decades in the making. The same thing can be said about Bollywood and the Egyptian cinema. The UAE still does not have any movies to associate itself with, other than the latest attempts in the past year or so. I'm curious to see what will happen.
