How Has Your World Changed?
That's the question BBC is asking its viewers and Web visitors in a series this month called Aftershock: How has your world changed? The series explores the global economic meltdown that began in September 2008 and has affected the Dubai work force. Visit BBC on television and also on the Web . The site has nifty interactive features, including a world map and a primer on recession basics and jargon. On TV, catch the dramatic promo -- international investment bankers throwing Molotov cocktails at riot police. Aftershock is a good example of television going behind breaking-news headlines. The associated website is a must-read for anyone wanting to know what's going on in the world today.

I am already living the life of my dreams. I used to doubt myself and think that some things were just not obtainable, but not anymore. I only set my sights on things that might seem impossible to other people. But now everyday it changes when i meet someone new, learn something new, or think of something new i become another person can get any dreams happen.

this is a nice move from BBC to know how the global economic effect people life. after i study about the first economic crisis, i was thinking if it can be happen again in 21 st ? and will we be effected? but then i though it will not happen, because the investment bankers and the people are more aware!!!!
now after the crisis, most of as in someway are effected from it. from this crisis i learned to not trust tomorrow. now i believe in this arabic says "work for tomorrow like you will live to see it, and live your life like it's your last day in your life"
The world economic crisis has generally affected everyone- some people more seriously than others. Personally, I have become more aware of my personal finances and I am much more conscious of my spending.
I know that any losses that have occurred within our family we will eventually recover from. But, I believe that these events have given us cause to look at and monitor our personal finances more closely. Additionally, I think I make better choices and realize the importance of financial planning.

Well how has my world changed?
There was a time where i used to think that if you plan your life and set a goal you will reach somewhere. Those are the words of many optimistic achievers who have reached their goals and are proud of their achievements. I have planned and drew my map. Can i be any more poetic? Now I'm a pessimist who lives the moment with no plans. That's how i accepted the economic crisis.
