Twitter started in March 2006 as a way for individuals to flash short messages to one another but quickly ballooned into a major public relations and marketing tool, used by businesses , celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Britney Spears and political leaders like President Obama and HH Sheikh Mohammed.
Even the Israeli embassy in London tweets but may be wishing it didn't.
The New York Times News Blog reported Friday that the embassy had posted and then quickly deleted a tweet with a joking reference to the Hamas assassination.
It read: You heard it here first: Israeli tennis player carries out hit on #Dubai target http://ow.ly/18A79 The news? An Israeli female had reached the semi-finals in Dubai Tennis Tournament. For the backstory see Israeli Tennis Player Performs Under Dubai Restrictions
After the British press reported on the bad joke, the Embassy pulled the post from its Twitter feed and its Facebook page. Maybe it should stick to old-fashioned diplomatically worded press releases.

I think that if they still in twitter they will flash many bad messages and keep this distributig about Palestine and Hamas which is not fair. i think twitter have to put law that the country should respect its self and not jocking about other. if the palestine embassy join twitter these 2 countries will keep fighting. I think all of the israeli embassy will make palestine angry and thats what israel want.
I think that websites like twitter were made to exchange informations, knowledge, or gain something good , not to fight or being rude to others.
maybe, its the best thing to be done which is pulling tweet by the Israeli Embassy !!
I think some people did that to create a fight between Israel and Palestine. However, these people don't want the 2 countries to live in peace, instead they want to add more spices in their lives as if they don't have enough problems!.
Social media website is accessible for anyone and everywhere to exchange knowledge and gain information, so that they benefit from them.
But some people use these websites to jock about people or for defamation.
These websites should put rules for those people who do not respect other people, countries, or religions. If they make jock of people or heart other's reputations they have to dismissed them from the website.
