What War Costs

Talk about bringing war home to readers/viewers! Take a look at this YouTube video from GOOD , a collaboration of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits who make a magazine, videos and events "for people who give a damn." The New York Times covered the launch of the "Magazine for Earnest Young Things" a little over three years ago but not as a media or business story. It ran in the "Fashion & Style" section.

Lots to consider here: YouTube delivering "war coverage," media gone cross-platform (magazine, videos and, yes, events), highly privileged young people who want to change the world.

This is a great video I’ve seen about the hidden costs of war. i was unaware of the costs having to do with the wars in the Middle East. How can a video talk about
the hidden costs of war without even mentioning all the human loses and u.s soldiers died
that these wars have caused? Im just blame Bush. It's all about the money. we have not forget about the people who are saved.

Every war has its costs, not only financially but also human cost. In this video they showed how much they lost .. but they didn't show how many people was killed from both sides as a result of human madness !

i like this video because it shows the people how much the world lost and shows how much they spent in wars and then the whole world face an economic crisis, but one thing to criticize, is why they didn't show the human lose !!

It's kind of a shock to me to find out that wars do cost a lot, but the financial part is the least important.
What the video didn't show is the loss of innocent men, women, children, or even soldiers.
The question is, why invest so much to start a war to bring "so-called" peace to other countries when all it has actually done is taking away more and more lives everyday, isn't there any other less disastrous ways?
