Way to go Oprah!!! im so happy for her but honestly do not know what I will do without her show. she somehow manage to make me cry at the drop of a hat, share the most unbelievable stories, and bring joy and comfort to me, and many others, every time i watch.

Thats so sad! How could you end something that you've had for 25 years!! I feel like there is a different reason that made her make this decision. I wonder what is it.

She is still going to be around; she'll have her own cable network. 25 years was enough for he I believe she said. Perhaps she'll have derivative of her show on her new network.

That is truly sad!

I am not sure if I am allowed to post the comment that I wish to, but I will, and if it is a cause of problem to anyone, please let me know so I can erase it.

As you wrote, "sort of", I think as a public relation's point of view, it seems more of a "please watch my last couple of seasons, so I can leave my show with the number of viewers so high" kind-of message.

And as soon as Oprah broadcast-ed her message, CNN and other news stations, started to show images and videos of Oprah when she started her show!

I think, for someone like Oprah, she did not need to tell the viewers a season in advance that she is leaving the show because she feels "its time".

It is very generous of her to take the time and share with her viewers her thoughts, but I still have some speculations of what might be going on.

The TV world will lose an incredible person. She really makes a huge change on people life by her show. I hope to see her face with her words in a different type of show.
