News FROM Iran?
The Toronto Star reports that New York Times stories about Tehran these days are datelined from Toronto, not exactly in the neighborhood. But that's one of the places where Iranian journalists have fled. According to the story ,....with depressing regularity, Canada is becoming a safe haven for the world's exiled journalists.

Canada is becoming a safe haven for the world's exiled journalists. Um, aren't all havens safe? i think this is because Canada has led the drafting of resolutions on alleged human rights abuses in Iran every year since the 2003 torture and murder while in Iranian custody of Zahra Kazemi, an Iranian-born Canadian photojournalist.
Ok so as long as we are getting the news there's nothing to complain about!
Its great that there is a place for those journalists to feel safe and free to say what they want. I wish the Arab world would start opening up to freedom for real (underline real three times) rather than the fake freedom that they say we have.
It does not matter where is the journalists’ location as far as the news is delivered clearly, honestly and cover the whole story. Having Canada as the safe place is a good thing but I think one of the countries that are close to Iran should have take the lead and provide a safe place for the journalists.
It is good to offer a safe place for journalists. That will help them to do their work correctly and get more news. I believe when journalist afraid about his life, he or she will not do his or her job in a right way. so, GOOD to have a safe place for them.
