Economist endorses a Socialist?
I came across this blog item when adding RSS feeds to my Google Reader (more on this in a subsequent post). Given the high global interest in Tuesday's election, I wanted to share how a blogger for The Nation, America's oldest weekly and self-described "flagship of the left and now most widely journal of opinion," reacted to the Obama endorsement by the British weekly he calls "the journal of monied elites." Whether left or right, both The Nation and The Economist are well-respected magazines (and websites!) among readers who want an inside track to what's going on in the world.

Thanx, for sharing!
We get the economist magazine every month. I'll sure be looking forward the one that comes after the election!!
I want to have a look at the economist after the elections! To have a look what people are thinking after the elections
Thanks for sharing both links with us, We'll bookmark both for sure.
while having dinner, Bloomberg channel was on, and there was something that grabbed my attention, which was the presenter's question to Sarah Steelman, Missouri State Treasurer, who is a republicant too, which was "McCain is planning to cut taxes for everyone, is that realistic?" and her answer was "yes it is realistic and needed" and that they need to cut so that people keep their money and stimulate the economy.
Thanks for sharing, waiting for the economist after the elections!
I checked out the Economist magazine today. for the front page: it had a very bold fond "ITS TIME" and a picture of a Obama coming forward!
They mentioned inside the magazine that if a magazine as a whole had a vote it would be for Obama.
